Refresher and follow up for the personnel
10 team members of AWARE project have undergone 3 days refresher and 2 days follow up training during the year under review.
These trainings have been held from February 2 2014 to February 4, 2014 and from July 7 2014 to July 8 2014 at AWARE office premises.
The team members were enabled to internalise the goals and activities under the project in detail, besides enhancing their communication, facilitation and documentation skills on the project implementation during the year.
Training to Newly married women

The 3 days trainings have been organized from November 10, 2014 to November 13, 2014 that was held at AWARE office premises , Adhavathur. Gynecologists, and health nurses have facilitated the 3 days trainings.
The women beneficiaries of the income generation activities, have been federated into a women federation. 100 women are now members and they are actively working thru the federation.
PLWA Monthly Meeting
AWARE Organize regular monthly meetings for the people living with HIV/AIDS in Adhavathur. During the regular meeting affected people gather, inter age, share their problems. Each one’s health and medical needs were understood for counseling, treatment, procurements of medicines. Experts in HIV/AIDS such as Doctors, Research Scholars, Para medical staff and counselors were invited to address each one’s problems. PLWHAs were given accompaniment to the Government and and Privated Hospitals for treatment and counseling.
